For more than 50 years, Lifeline Aotearoa has been supporting New Zealanders experiencing crisis, distress, and emotional challenges. Lifeline Aotearoa is looking for a Senior Administrator to provide high-quality administrative and operational support to our National Lifeline Manager and Counselling service.
This is a varied role where your organisation, attention to detail and ability to build positive relationships will make a real difference. You’ll be at the heart of the day-to-day administration of the Lifeline Counselling service, helping ensure our systems, processes and information are accurate, efficient and well managed.
You’ll work closely with the National Lifeline Manager, responding to operational priorities, staff and stakeholder enquiries and emerging service needs. You’ll also be a professional and welcoming point of contact for staff, clients and visitors, communicating confidently across email, telephone and face-to-face interactions.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing proactive and reliable administrative support to the National Lifeline Manager and Counselling service.
Coordinating day-to-day operational and administrative requirements such as payroll and rostering.
Maintaining accurate records, systems and documentation.
Responding promptly and professionally to enquiries from staff, clients and stakeholders.
Supporting effective communication and information flow across the service.
Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and systems.
Managing competing priorities and responding flexibly to emerging operational needs.
Contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of the Lifeline Counselling service.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) permanent role based in Epsom.
