The operator is responsible for cleaning, servicing, and packaging medical equipment using automated washers and manual methods. They also manage stock movement using high reach machines and ensure the availability of cleaning supplies and PPE.
Candidates must be physically fit for heavy lifting and possess a positive, reliable attitude. A forklift license is preferred, or a willingness to obtain one.

Invacare Europe & Asia Pacific and Direct Healthcare Group have recently merged creating DHCare, a global medical device company that supports efforts to move health forward by delivering innovative and leading solutions for individuals whose lives are impacted by reduced mobility.
We are now seeking an experienced cleaner to join our Rentals team, helping to service our very busy, Auckland DHB contract. You’ll join a small, close-knit group who work collaboratively with our internal teams to ensure our equipment is cleaned, serviced and ready to be redistributed to our customers.
This is a varied role which will keep you busy from the moment you start work until the end. Cleaning our equipment includes operating automated washers and equipment, manual cleaning and moving a range of different items that vary in size, shape and weight to different locations (bending, lifting and shifting).
You will also:
• Wrap and package equipment to be returned to the goods area and shelving
• Ensure we have an adequate supply of cleaning products and PPE
• Identify issues with products that need to be serviced
• Tag items with serial numbers
• Pick and put away stock items using a high reach and man-up machine
We’d love to hear from you if you:
• Are physically fit and can lift heavy items
• Don’t mind getting stuck in to get the work done
• Have an energetic and positive attitude with good communication skills
• Enjoy working in a team as well as alone
• Are reliable and pride yourself on doing a great job, every time!
• Have a forklift licence or are interested in getting one
