The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat patients across various diagnoses while providing extensive education to patients and their families. They will also participate in multidisciplinary team care alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, a valid license, and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. At least one year of experience in an acute care setting and proficiency in Modified Barium Swallow Studies are strongly preferred.

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Speech Language Pathologist to our Acute Care Rehab Team in Jacksonville, FL. This position opportunity is set to work a part-time, day shift schedule at our main campus Downtown. This position is expected to participate in team weekend and holiday coverage rotations.
This is a part-time opportunity working in an adult acute care setting. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in Modified Barium Swallow Studies in an acute care setting.
Evaluates and treats patients of all diagnoses.
Provides extensive patient/family education.
Participates in multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nursing, physicians, dietitians, social services, respiratory, support staff, etc.
Works in a fast-paced setting requiring good time management, detailed documentation skills in the EMR, self-directed, and effective communication skills.
1 or more years Experience working in an Acute Care setting strongly preferred
Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies strongly Preferred
