Responsible for registering patient information and obtaining blood specimens using standard or butterfly methods. The role involves processing laboratory specimens for clinical analysis to support patient diagnosis and care.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a phlebotomy training program. National Certification and prior laboratory or clinical office experience are preferred.
Properly identify and register patients, per policy and performs venipuncture using standard/butterfly methods
Labels all specimens following laboratory policies and procedures
Provide excellent customer service
Work Hours/Shift:
• 24 hours, flexible start and end times based on Center’s operation of hours. Will float to other centers when needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED, completion of phlebotomy training program
Laboratory experience, specimen processing preferred; or clinical office experience with medical terminology
National Certification preferred
