Are you a natural leader who enjoys coaching others while still staying connected to the day-to-day work? Do you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment where teamwork, process improvement, and exceptional patient service are equally important?
Neuroscience Group is seeking a Team Lead – Patient Access to oversee our Scheduling Coordinators, Intake Coordinators, and Physical Therapy Intake/Prior Authorization teams. This is a working leadership position, meaning you'll spend approximately 50% of your time leading, coaching, and developing the team and 50% actively supporting daily operations alongside them.
If you're passionate about building high-performing teams, improving processes, and creating an outstanding patient experience, we'd love to hear from you.
Requirements
What You'll Do
As the Team Lead – Patient Access, you'll partner closely with Practice Administration, Operations, the Manager of Patient Access, and other organizational leaders to ensure our patient access teams operate efficiently while delivering compassionate, exceptional service.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, mentor, and support Scheduling Coordinators, Intake Coordinators, and Physical Therapy Intake/Prior Authorization staff.
Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture that promotes engagement, trust, and professional growth.
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance development to help team members reach their highest potential.
Support employee engagement while maintaining high levels of morale and job satisfaction.
Participate in interviewing, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and corrective action processes alongside leadership and Human Resources.

Analyze staffing needs and make recommendations to ensure appropriate team coverage.
Design, coordinate, and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing team members.

Assisting with patient scheduling and intake activities.
Supporting Physical Therapy Intake and Prior Authorization workflows.
Helping manage workload during high-volume periods.
Serving as a resource and subject matter expert for the team.
Approximately 50% of this position involves performing the daily work of the department, allowing you to lead by example while maintaining firsthand knowledge of team operations.
