Cardinal Health Medical Products & Distribution business segment is seeking a highly motivated individual contributor to build and expand relationships with some of the nation's largest health systems and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). The Director of Health Systems Sales is an individual contributor who is responsible for developing and executing strategic growth plans within 4-6 assigned health systems, navigating complex customer environments, and developing strategic solutions that help customers improve operational performance, optimize supply chain outcomes, and support high-quality patient care.
As a trusted advisor, you will engage executive stakeholders, lead sophisticated sales pursuits, and influence decision-making across customer organizations. While this is not a people leadership role, success requires the ability to lead through influence, build credibility across cross-functional teams, and drive results in a highly matrixed environment.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, asks insightful questions to uncover customer needs, and demonstrates the tenacity to manage long sales cycles and overcome obstacles. They are adaptable, comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing priorities, and possess strong problem-solving skills to develop creative solutions for complex customer challenges.
Anticipated pay range: $193,000-$257,000 (includes targeted variable pay)
