Overview Registered Nurse – PCU in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 09/08/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range is $2,357–$2,467 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shifts are 12-hour day shifts, three days per week. This assignment places you in an IMCU/PCU environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio up to 1:4. Assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care to PCU/IMCU patients, including assessment, monitoring, and timely documentation - Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered, including heparin drips; monitor for adverse effects and drug interactions - Monitor for clinical changes associated with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, CKD, and related conditions; respond rapidly and escalate as needed - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and adjust care plans; assist with planning for discharge and transition of care - Perform ongoing patient assessments, manage invasive devices and monitoring equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort - Maintain accurate charting in the electronic health record, adhere to infection control practices, and uphold standards of quality and safety
Requirements - Minimum 2 years of RN bedside experience in an IMCU/PCU or comparable critical care setting - BLS and ACLS certifications required - Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a PCU/IMCU with a patient ratio up to 1:4 - Active RN license to practice in Georgia - Willingness to work in a hospital-based PCU/IMCU environment and adhere to unit protocols
