The ROI Specialist manages the release of patient medical records by reviewing requests according to HIPAA guidelines and retrieving data from various sources. They are also responsible for logging requests into the ROI On-Line database and handling customer inquiries via phone or in person.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with at least one year of data entry experience and proficiency in computer applications. Prior experience in Release of Information, knowledge of medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations are preferred.
