The EKG Technician performs diagnostic heart procedures including 12-Lead EKGs, stress tests, and Holter monitor applications while maintaining accurate patient records in EPIC and MUSE. They are also responsible for equipment maintenance, quality control, and assisting the healthcare team with patient-related inquiries.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and completion of an EKG monitoring course or equivalent on-the-job training are required.
