Provide day-to-day engineering support to the manufacturing floor and improve processes in fabrication, machining, and assembly areas. Collect and analyze data, resolve process problems, and update technical documentation such as BOMs and process specifications.
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, or Industrial. Requires basic CAD skills, proficiency in MS Office, and completion of sophomore year requirements by August 2026.
As an Engineering Co-op at STERIS, you will join a collaborative team of production operators and engineers working on our innovative Surgical Solutions product lines in the Montgomery, Alabama facility. In this role, you will assist in providing day to day Engineering support to the manufacturing floor for our current product lines. You will also participate in project work that will benefit STERIS and contribute to your individual growth as a developing engineer. As a valued member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on compelling medical device products in a clean, climate- controlled work environment and a supportive, team-based culture.
Pay range for this opportunity is $20-25/hr.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
