The Director will develop and execute grassroots advocacy strategies to influence federal legislative and regulatory policy. This includes managing advocacy tools, building networks of trade associations, and facilitating engagement between community bankers and government agencies.
A bachelor's degree in public policy or a related field and at least three years of government or trade association experience are required. Candidates must be familiar with the federal legislative process and experienced in managing formal grassroots programs using tools like Quorum.
The Director, Grassroots Advocacy will support and expand the scope of ICBA’s grassroots advocacy to advance policy change with the Executive, Congressional, and Judicial branches of government as well as the bank regulatory agencies. The Director, Grassroots Advocacy will expand advocacy engagement from grasstops bankers, state-level groups, and like-minded trade associations and organizations.

Compensation and Benefits
ICBA offers competitive compensation and benefits and is conveniently located in the nation’s capital. The target annual salary range for this role is currently $84,000 to $105,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity.
