Develop and edit content for a government customer's internal website while codifying business processes and standardizing methods. Collaborate with stakeholders and change managers to support site adoption and communicate progress through reporting.
Requires at least 3 years of writing or editing experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 7 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Must be able to obtain a government security clearance and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
As a Technical Writer, you'll be working with Federal Government clients and Steampunk team members to support a design-led team as we develop content for a new website on our customer's intranet. The role may also help to codify business processes, standardize methods and techniques, and provide documentation and business process improvement support.
Ability to work independently or with other team members to capture requirements and translate into technical documentation
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Strong written and oral communication skills
Microsoft Office proficiency
Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
