You will guide government clients through design frameworks by planning and executing UX initiatives from discovery to interface design. You will also conduct user research, facilitate workshops, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive and accessible digital experiences.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of professional UX/UI experience and a portfolio demonstrating their design methods and craft. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with the ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance.
As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for guiding government clients through our Design Intelligence™ framework, incorporating human-centered methods to solve complex user experience challenges. You will plan and execute UX initiatives from discovery through interface design; research, prototyping, iteration, visual design, user, usability, and accessibility testing. You will serve as the voice of the customer and make sure their needs are considered and met within a proposed solution.

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $140,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
