The Yard Hostler is responsible for operating motorized equipment to move, couple, and uncouple tankers and trailers between staging and loading areas. They must also perform maintenance checks, conduct trailer inventories, and ensure compliance with safety and food quality standards.
Candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and be able to pass a drug screen and physical. The role requires the ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, and the physical capacity to lift over 50 pounds in extreme weather conditions.
