The Shift Leader is responsible for managing daily shop operations, including food quality control, inventory tracking, and delegating tasks to team members. They also handle customer service issues, register balancing, and ensure all company standards are met during opening and closing shifts.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and available to work at least 30 hours per week, including 5 morning shifts and weekends. Applicants are required to obtain a food safety certification within three months of their start date.

What began as a pair of blenders, a patio table, and a fridge has flourished into a 300+ unit operator and franchisor of the leading fast casual restaurant concept. Playa Bowls added 85 locations in 2025 and are on target to add 90+ new locations in 2026. You’re a positive and enthusiastic people-person, over 18, who may just so happen to have a passion for fruit, superfoods, and all things healthy! As a Shift Leader, you are considered an extension of management and may be trusted with the shop during times in which the management is not present. Shift Leaders should be comfortable delegating tasks and should excel at doing such in a manner that prioritizes the needs of the shop.
