Working under the direction of the Executive Chef and supporting Sous Chefs
Completing accurate records of the quality assurance document (QA checks etc.)
Working alongside a team of production team members and providing the best service possible to all our customers, work in cold and hot environments, wear Mask, standing long period of time
Prepare ingredients and execute cooking tasks according to recipes, ensuring quality and consistency
Supervise a specific station or section of the kitchen,ensuring all dishes are prepared efficiently and to the required standards
Work closely with other members of the kitchen team to coordinate timing and ensure smooth service during busy periods
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety, following all kitchen procedures and regulations
Train and supervise junior members of the kitchen team, providing guidance and support as needed
Assist in managing inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, notifying management, purchasing and Warehouse Teams when stocks are running low
Contribute to menu planning and development, suggesting ideas for new dishes and improvements to existing ones
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, following HACCP guidelines and ensuring compliance with health regulations
Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during service, finding solutions quickly to minimize disruption
Maintain clear and effective communication with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs and other kitchen staff, relaying information and updates as needed
Other duties as assigned
Culinary Diploma or Culinary Red Seal preferred
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in high-volume food production or banquet kitchen operations, with a strong focus on productivity, efficiency, and process improvement.
Food Safety Certification
Exceptional knife skills
Good knowledge of google and word applications
A problem solver’s mentality; you see problems as opportunities and see the benefit of doing things differently
Strong communication skills, ability to adjust your communication style to different audiences, relay information clearly and concisely
Ability to balance priorities, maintain efficiency, and deliver results on time
