The Manager of Concessions Operations is responsible for overseeing year-round food and beverage operations across all zoo venues to ensure service excellence and revenue growth. This role involves leading staff, managing inventory, maintaining safety standards, and executing business plans to meet organizational goals.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in food, beverage, catering, or retail services, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity. A college diploma in a related field such as business management, tourism, or hospitality is preferred, along with strong leadership and administrative abilities.

The Wilder Institute’s Calgary Zoo is an outdoor facility and all staff working at the zoo must be comfortable working in a large variety of outdoor conditions. The Wilder Institute’s Calgary Zoo follows the advice of Environment Canada when responding to temperature and air quality issues.
