The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day and month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statements. They also serve as the primary point of contact for annual audits and provide financial variance analysis to leadership.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of experience in public or corporate accounting. A CPA certification and experience with NetSuite or multi-currency environments are preferred.

Propio is rapidly growing organization and we are looking to hire a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing Financial Reporting team at our headquarters in Overland Park, KS. The person in this role will need to be comfortable explaining fluctuations, variances, and anomalies to finance leadership. The Senior Accountant will also serve as the primary point of contact during the company’s annual audit. Additional responsibilities include general ledger journal posting and account reconciliation, ad-hoc financial reporting, and finance systems maintenance.
