Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 6+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience, with a CPA strongly preferred. Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and ASC 606, along with demonstrated AI fluency and SQL experience, is required.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting and based in San Francisco, CA or Denver, CO, you'll play a strategic, highly visible role within Checkr's Finance Operations (FinOps) organization — shaping how deals are structured and new revenue models come to market while ensuring alignment with ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP. You'll lead technical revenue accounting analyses, own the revenue close process, and translate accounting guidance into clear, scalable policies that balance compliance, efficiency, and commercial impact. You'll partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and RevOps to influence decisions that directly shape Checkr's continued growth.
