Reporting to the Controller, the Receiving Clerk supports the P2P process in order to maximize service to external and internal customers while contributing to the strong and reliable reputation of Volker Stevin Group as a whole. This position supports the Project Managers with receiving goods and services.
How You’ll Add Value
Receive against the purchase orders with tickets or bill of ladings.
Project a professional image in dealing with vendors and internal/external staff.
Reconcile the purchase orders to resolve discrepancies.
Organize, enter, and file the tickets/bill of ladings.
Ensure accuracy of the information entered into Viewpoint program.
Complete purchase order reconciliations and investigation (particularly at year-end).
Sort and enter large volume of tickets and bill of ladings with basic calculations required.
What You Bring
Grade 12 with 1-2 years of accounts payable or clerical experience.
Prior knowledge of the receiving function is considered an asset.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Working technical knowledge of D365, or other major ERP system, considered an asset.
