The Electrical Power Engineer supports the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical power systems for geothermal projects. This includes performing power system studies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient energy infrastructure delivery.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and knowledge of NEC and NESC codes. Proficiency in power analysis software like ETAP or SKM and strong analytical problem-solving skills are essential.
Description
The Electrical Power Engineer will play a key role on Fervo's Power Delivery Team, supporting the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical power systems across geothermal development projects. This role will contribute to a wide variety of power delivery initiatives, including transmission systems, distribution networks, substations, interconnections, and renewable energy integration. Working closely with internal engineering teams, consultants, vendors, and construction partners, the Electrical Power Engineer will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.
This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating across disciplines, and contributing to the development of innovative energy infrastructure. The Electrical Power Engineer will report to the Lead Electrical Power Engineer.
