The Machine Shop Technician will perform ID and OD grinding on large aircraft components while adhering to safety policies and lean manufacturing initiatives. They will also coordinate priorities between shifts and operate various machines within the cell to support continuous improvement.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and 3-5 years of experience in grinding, lathe, or CNC machining. Proficiency in blueprint reading, measuring equipment, and eligibility to work in Canada under ITAR and CCGP regulations are required.

Collins Aerospace is looking to hire Machine Shop Technician – Grinder , Reporting to the Supervisor – Processing, as the Machine Shop Technician - Grinding, you will be responsible for general grinding on the weekend night shift.
Our Advanced Structures team leverages advanced materials and additive manufacturing to develop complex interior and exterior solutions. These solutions ensure structural integrity of the aircraft, help aircraft take off and land, stay trim in the air, move forward, carry cargo and conduct rescues. The salary range for this role is 61,334 CAD – 81,003 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
