Full job description
Who we are
Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.
Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.
Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.
This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.
We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.
If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.
What you’ll do
The Construction Manager will plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects from beginning to end—delivering ahead of schedule and below budget while adhering to building codes, plans, and specifications.
Responsible for all aspects of daily onsite construction activities, including but not limited to: setting and maintaining schedules, monitoring construction costs, ensuring a safe workplace, and managing working relationships. This includes ensuring all parties perform in a way that keeps projects organized, on schedule, and within budget.
Manage the schedule, cost, and quality of multiple construction projects, with full knowledge of all phases of construction—from permitting through completion.
Strategize and define the overall build approach, including construction, tendering, and appointment strategies for consultants, contractors, and vendors, with the objective of maximizing build quality and minimizing time and cost.
Manage teams of consultants, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
Review and assess project schedules and key milestones to ensure critical path compliance; negotiate schedule recovery plans with vendors and contractors as needed.
Coordinate all onsite activities during the construction process, including inspections, installations, and due diligence activities.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree preferred
7-10 years of relevant work experience; 5–7 years within commercial real estate and F&B construction
Ability to own multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders
Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
Experience working in fast‑paced environments requiring adaptability and initiative
Plus: Procore, Bluebeam Revu, MS Project
