Candidates must have at least 15 years of experience in systems administration and virtualization, with specific expertise in VMware VDI. An active Secret clearance and a VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) certification are required for this role.
Vision IT is seeking an experienced SIPR Lead / VMware Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support mission-critical operations at Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB). The selected candidate will serve as the technical lead for both NIPR and SIPR Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments, ensuring the stability, security, performance, and operational readiness of enterprise virtualized systems supporting classified and unclassified networks.
This position requires advanced VMware expertise, strong systems administration experience, and the ability to lead implementation, troubleshooting, optimization, and sustainment efforts within secure Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
