Job Title: Junior Web Developer, Python

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Django Developer to join our Shared Platform Corporate Tooling team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Python-based web application development with strong knowledge of Django framework and front-end technologies. The role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting web applications deployed on Linux environments, with MS SQL as the backend database. The candidate will work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable corporate tooling solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python and Django framework.
• Build and enhance user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Assist in backend development, API creation, and integration with MS SQL databases.
• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Support deployment and maintenance of applications on Linux server environments.
• Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development standards and best practices.
• Debug and resolve application issues across frontend and backend layers.
• Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
• Assist in production support and incident resolution activities.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in full stack web development.
• Strong knowledge of Python and Django framework.
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and web services.
• Experience working in Linux server environments.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication and learning agility.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience in enterprise or corporate internal tooling applications.
