Description

As a Software Engineer you will be working alongside Sr. Software Engineers, and Architects to support, build and enhance the next generation of Apple’s IS&T Platforms and Applications. You will be part of an Agile team and partake in every aspect of the product, from planning to design to implementation and future iteration. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, pro-active and solution oriented. Attention to detail and dedication to providing a high-quality, stable delivery are essential. Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to multi-task.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in developing scalable back end solutions in Java Understanding and Hands-on programming experience in Concurrency, data structures, knowledge of relational database and data access technologies Knowledge of designing and implementing REST APIs Knowledge of unit testing and code debugging/troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building java-based applications using Spring framework Architecting and defining Application layer in SOA/ Micro Services landscape Experience with JVM internals and garbage collection Design and implementation of high throughput, low latency, highly available critical applications Experience in working in a large enterprise, with a global environment, across multiple timezones and geographies To be successful you are self-motivated; driven to achieve and go above and beyond Experience in working with No-SQL Databases: Cassandra, MongoDB, etc. Understand security concepts and build reliable and safe distributed applications Solid knowledge of applications performance improvement techniques and caching solutions
