Supervise the engineering team and manage the maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems within the data center and campus. Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs and develop project plans and operational procedures.
Requires a high school diploma and at least 5 years of experience in both a data center environment and building management. Proficiency with building automation systems and the ability to lift 50 lbs are also required.
Position Summary
The Data Center Lead Building Engineer provides maintenance support for the Data Center and campus. Maintains all mechanical and electrical systems in the complex. Aids outside vendors/contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and mechanical projects. Supervises engineering team and provides project management at the direction of the Chief Engineer. Enthusiastic about learning new systems, openness to improving upon existing practices, and have a goal-oriented mindset.
This position reports to the Chief Engineer.
