The Business Analyst supports operational excellence by analyzing data, identifying performance trends, and facilitating process improvement initiatives across Transmission Operations. They also lead event investigations, develop performance dashboards, and coordinate organizational learning activities to improve reliability and safety.
Candidates must have an associate degree or equivalent experience in operations, engineering, or a related field, along with experience in electric transmission or control room operations. Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills are required, as is the willingness to work flexible schedules for emergency response.

The Transmission Operations Business Analyst – Process Improvement supports operational excellence across Transmission Operations through data analysis, process improvement, human performance initiatives, organizational learning, and business intelligence. The position serves as a key resource for identifying performance trends, improving work processes, reducing operational risk, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across Transmission Operations.
The successful candidate will analyze operational data, facilitate improvement initiatives, support event investigations, develop performance metrics, coordinate lessons learned activities, and partner with Operations, Training, Compliance, and Engineering organizations to improve organizational effectiveness and reliability. This position combines the skills of a business analyst, continuous improvement practitioner, and human performance professional.
