Aramark is hiring an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician I to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment. In this role, you will work on systems including rooftop units (RTUs), hot water boilers, low-pressure steam boilers, split systems, air handlers, and ventilation equipment across multiple facilities.
The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency service following training. This position is ideal for an HVAC service technician who enjoys hands-on maintenance work, solving equipment issues, and keeping building systems operating safely and efficiently. Candidates must be comfortable working in facilities that include halfway houses and similar residential environments and maintain a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and security awareness. Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $33.32 to $33.32. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems.
Service and troubleshoot rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, air handlers, hot water boilers, and low-pressure steam boilers.
Identify equipment issues and complete corrective maintenance to restore system performance.Inspect, clean, and replace filters, belts, motors, coils, and other HVAC components.
Test HVAC and refrigeration equipment to verify proper operation and efficiency.
Maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems serving occupied buildings.
Calibrate, repair, and maintain pneumatic controls and related HVAC equipment.
Clean and maintain ductwork, ventilation systems, grills, exhaust systems, and associated components.
Read equipment specifications, service manuals, and work orders to complete repairs accurately.
Complete maintenance records, service reports, and preventative maintenance documentation.
Respond to emergency maintenance calls during scheduled on-call rotations.
Maintain inventory of materials, replacement parts, and service tools needed for daily work.
Follow applicable HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and safety codes and procedures.
Work independently and coordinate with other maintenance trades when needed.
Maintain a professional presence while working in facilities that may include halfway houses or similar residential environments.
Follow all site security requirements and building access procedures.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Previous experience working as an HVAC Service Technician performing maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment.
EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
Completion of an HVAC training program through a trade school, technical school, or career center.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing RTUs, split systems, boilers, air handlers, or similar HVAC equipment.
Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related HVAC issues.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
Willingness to participate in an after-hours and weekend on-call rotation after training.
Ability to work the regular schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment and materials, work from ladders, and perform physical maintenance tasks.
Strong attention to safety, reliability, and attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
NATE Certification.
Experience working in correctional, residential, institutional, healthcare, government, or similar secure facilities.
Experience with pneumatic controls and commercial building systems.
Additional maintenance experience involving electrical, refrigeration, or building systems
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
