Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 8 years of automotive project experience in facilities systems development. Candidates must have experience leading new product introduction proposals and be able to travel 10-20%.
The Industrial Strategy (IS) Facilities Systems Product/Process Specialist will lead projects in design and cost estimation of Facilities systems for Propulsion Plants as indicated by requirements in the Long Range Plan. This will include Building/Construction, Filtration, Mist/Dust collection, and all other equipment as required for new model launches in North America, Canada, and Mexico. The role of this Specialist will be to apply Process Standards developed by the Underbody Process Engineering (UPE) group to develop proposals for new product introductions, including process design, layout, and cost estimations (Capital, Tooling, and Expense).
