Job Profile Summary
Collaborate with the Captain of each flight in order to provide safe, efficient and timely air transportation for employees and representatives of the company and their associates.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Responsible for being Second in Command (SIC) and Pilot in Command (PIC) for all flights (and all related competencies).
Verify aircraft is in compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Before each flight ensure all preflight inspections are performed. Verify aircraft databases are current. Review weight and balance, fuel on board and aircraft performance.
Coordinate aircraft handling and fueling with Fixed Based Operators (FBO’s) under the supervision of the Captain.
Prepare flight plans and evaluate weather conditions at destination as well as in route, to ensure optimum safety. Make competent, well-informed decisions whether or not to proceed as planned, divert, delay or cancel flights.
Ensure the aircraft is always prepared for flight; that it is clean and supplied with all provisions necessary for the safety and comfort of the passengers.
Provide exemplary customer service to all passengers.
Coordinate travel needs, such as catering services and ground transportation.
