Full job description
Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.
We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.
We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About This Role: The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our manufacturing operations. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including stocking production supply rooms, processing incoming materials, meticulous management of materials within the ERP system, oversight of finished goods inventories, and the execution of annual physical inventories. The Inventory Control Specialist is crucial in maintaining accuracy and efficiency in our supply chain. This is a full-time position.

Documentation and Procedures: Ensure proper documentation (i.e., material requisition) is completed and all relevant procedures are strictly followed before and after any inventory movement.

Cycle Counting: Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain high inventory accuracy and minimize variances.
Annual Inventory Planning: Assist in the comprehensive planning and execution of the full annual physical inventory.
Surplus and Scrap Management: Assist in the effective management and appropriate disposal of surplus materials and scrap.
Adequate Inventory Maintenance: Ensure sufficient inventory levels of materials and products are maintained in accordance with established inventory cycles and organizational philosophy.
Production Floor Support: Transport parts to the production floor as needed.
Job Material Issuance: Issue parts to specific jobs according to project specifications.
Job Kitting: Prepare jobs for production by unboxing all parts and organizing like materials together on job carts.
Sheet Metal Handling: Pull necessary sheet metal for CNC operators to expedite production timelines.
Bill of Materials Verification: Double-check the Bill of Materials for projects moving into production to confirm the presence of all required parts.
ERP System Utilization: Utilize the ERP system to accurately track all material movements and inventory levels.
Monthly Cycle Counts: Perform monthly cycle counts of materials and provide necessary assistance to the warehouse as required.
Warehouse Assistance: Assist with various warehouse tasks, including receiving, unloading trucks, maintaining cleanliness, and general upkeep of the lot.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Inventory Control Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in inventory control, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
MRP System Familiarity: Experience working with an MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all inventory-related tasks.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and analyze inventory discrepancies and implement effective solutions.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with various teams, including production and warehouse personnel.
Bonus Points:
Forklift operation experience.
