Position Summary
The HVAC Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential and commercial HVAC systems and indoor air quality (IAQ) products. This position is responsible for providing quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and delivering professional client service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
HVAC Service & Installation
Diagnose HVAC system issues and determine appropriate repair or service solutions.
Service, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment.
Install HVAC equipment in accordance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.
Service and install indoor air quality (IAQ) products.
Perform quality workmanship that meets company standards and applicable codes.
Apply knowledge of HVAC electrical systems and controls to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Client Service & Professionalism
Provide professional and courteous service during every client interaction.
Build positive relationships with clients by addressing questions and concerns.
Clearly communicate service needs and recommendations.
Represent Brothers professionally in appearance, attitude, communication, and conduct.
Serve as a positive ambassador for Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric.
Work collaboratively with team members to provide an exceptional client experience.
Safety & Vehicle Responsibilities
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Operate company vehicles safely and professionally.
Maintain a safe work environment for clients, coworkers, and yourself.
Travel efficiently between job sites using maps, GPS, and routing tools.
Administrative Responsibilities
Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
Use tablets and mobile software applications as required.
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and philosophies.
Meet performance expectations established through the company's performance review process.
Training & Professional Development

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
EPA/CFC Certification.
Valid Colorado Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous HVAC service and installation experience.

Technical Skills
Ability to diagnose, service, repair, and install HVAC systems and IAQ products.

Ability to use tablets, mobile applications, and field service technology.
Physical Requirements
The employee must be able to:
Lift up to 80 pounds on a regular basis.
Pull up to 164 pounds with a dolly up a flight of stairs.
Safely climb ladders and access rooftops.
Work safely in confined spaces and on uneven terrain.
Work outdoors in varied and extreme weather conditions.
