The Design Technician creates cost-effective gas and electrical distribution designs while acting as the primary liaison between customers, construction teams, and utility providers. Responsibilities include interpreting construction drawings, obtaining permits, and managing multiple projects from inception to completion.
A high school diploma is required, though an associate or bachelor's degree in design or construction is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have working knowledge of GIS or similar mapping software.

We are hiring for Design Technicians to provide new distribution and service designs for customers who need gas and electrical facilities. A successful Designer will be self-motivated, adaptable to change, a strong problem solver and have expert time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines. This position is in-person at our new, state-of-the-art office building, in Dove Valley, Colorado, located 15 miles south of Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, mapping, and/or other technical programs. We are willing to train the right candidate! If you are interested in pursuing a career in utility design, CAD, mapping, GIS, this is a great opportunity to get your career started with a reputable company. This position requires up to 10% of travel where the employee will drive a non-commercial company vehicle.
