Job Description: Project Manager II
LiveWire Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager II for our fast-paced, growing organization. This full-time, salaried role manages electrical construction projects specializing in lighting, power, and low voltage system from preconstruction through closeout, with full ownership of each project's financial performance, schedule, and safety. He / She will coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver high-quality installations on budget and on time across LiveWire's Commercial & Industrial and Energy divisions. This position offers meaningful opportunity for professional leadership growth and development.

Base salary: $115,000.00 - $124,000.00 commensurate with experience

Role Summary:
The Project Manager II is the owner of several concurrently running electrical projects and is accountable for their financial and operational performance managing budget, billing, and forecasting while coordinating manpower, materials, and equipment with the field team. This position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Project Financial Management
Cost Management — Owns cost performance of assigned projects; manages project budgets, labor hours, and material procurement, and tracks field productivity (estimate vs. actual) to course-correct and protect labor budget and project profit.
Billing — Prepares and submits accurate, timely progress billings and pay applications in accordance with contract terms and the schedule of values; coordinates with accounting on lien waivers and receivables.
Projection — Develops and maintains project cost, cash flow, and revenue projections, including forecasted final cost and margin at completion; reports trends affecting profitability to leadership.
Cost to Complete — Calculates and updates cost-to-complete on a regular cycle, reconciling committed costs, earned progress, and remaining work to validate projections and inform corrective action.
Training and Cross-Divisional Consistency
Manages and trains Project Coordinators, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Managers on cost management, billing, projection, and cost-to-complete methods.
Delivers consistent project-controls practices across LiveWire Commercial & Industrial and LiveWire Energy, ensuring both divisions follow standardized processes and reporting.
Delegates tasks and duties to maximize management capacity and the project volume managed by the team.
Project Execution and Delivery
Manages projects across the full lifecycle from conception, design, and procurement through installation, testing, and commissioning coordinating installation of lighting fixtures, power distribution and monitoring, and low-voltage systems (security, fire alarm, IT / data networks).
Prepares and maintains baseline schedules and updates using actual vs. baseline to substantiate delays and impacts, issues timely contractual notifications, and prepares documentation to support claims.
Reviews, negotiates, and administers contracts through the life of the project to protect the company from risk; manages change orders, including scope definition and pricing.
Owns project safety, including weekly audits and incident investigation and reporting; contributes positively to the company safety culture.
Builds and maintains positive customer relationships that result in repeat business.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical construction or industrial project management
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of power distribution, lighting controls, and low-voltage cabling
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ProNovos, and construction management software; Excel proficient
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting budget and schedule objectives, and to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Physical ability to conduct periodic job site visits, including walking active construction sites in various terrains
Good standing with union if required
