Position Summary/Purpose: Provide administrative and office support for the Department of Welcome Programs.
Assist with creating, coordinating, and executing marketing tasks as assigned by full-time staff members.
Provide operational, task-oriented support for all programs, events, and activities. Specifically, those related to Welcome Week, Family Weekend, Move out, and Herd Camp.
Network and collaborate with other GCU departments, partners, and students
Maintain and expand knowledge of relevant systems, platforms, and resources to aid in managing organizational details
Support daily office functions and administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, emails, text messages, and budget management.
Other duties as assigned

Academic year, 20/hrs week
Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication as well as excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Desire to learn new skills and ability to take and receive direction from staff
Ability to balance multiple tasks at one time and take initiative of responsibilities
Experience and interest in marketing and communications
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Canva.

Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027
