The Program Aide will work directly with students to support their physical, emotional, and intellectual development through various activities. They are also responsible for assisting with homework, test preparation, and maintaining program supplies.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and a commitment to the mission of the Harlem Children's Zone. Previous experience working with children or youth in an educational or after-school setting is preferred.

The Program Aide will bring a passion for the mission of Harlem Children’s Zone: break the cycle of intergenerational poverty with comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that builds up opportunities for children and families to thrive in school, work, and life.
The Program Aide will join one of our Harlem Children's Zone/Promise Academy after-school programs that ensures thousands of kids in Central Harlem have an after-school program that is fun, safe, and a great learning experience. The individual will be an enthusiastic, reliable team player to contribute every ounce of their energy, creativity, and love so that our kids have an incredible after-school program this year. Previous experience working with children or youth in an educational, extracurricular, or after-school program is preferred but not required.
