The Activity Specialist delivers high-energy youth programs focused on academic success, good character, and healthy lifestyles. They are responsible for facilitating curricula, supervising youth safety, and providing administrative support for program metrics.
A high school diploma is required, with college coursework in Education or Social Work strongly preferred. Candidates must have experience working with youth aged 6-18 and pass a background check and drug screening.

The Activity Specialist is responsible for the direct, high-energy delivery and implementation of youth programs across ULBGC’s core areas of focus. Working closely with the Program Coordinator, the Activity Specialist ensures youth members are safely engaged in structured, enriching, and fun activities designed to promote three main pillars: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles.

Studies show that the next generation of youth will have fewer opportunities than the previous generation for the first time in history. We work daily to provide an environment where youth can pursue programs in our three core program areas: Academic Success, Good Character and citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles, all while under the guidance of caring, trained, trustworthy youth development professionals.
