Title: Business Support Specialist – Investment Managers, AVP/ VP
Division: Private Bank – Investment Management, Emerging Markets

Role Overview
The Business Support Specialist for Investment Managers acts as a trusted partner to the Emerging Markets Investment Management (IM) franchise, providing business management, analytics, sales enablement and operational support to Investment Managers and FX Advisors, and the Business Management team.
The role supports the growth of the Emerging Markets Wealth Management business through the delivery of quality management information, portfolio review support, investment content preparation, business analytics and strategic initiatives. Working closely with Investment Managers, FX Advisors, Product Specialists, and key stakeholders, the individual will help drive business performance, enhance operational efficiency and support consistent execution across the IM franchise.
The role combines strong analytical, organizational and communication skills to support business management activities, portfolio review processes, investment campaigns, client engagement materials, governance initiatives and management reporting in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Review & Investment Analysis Support
• Support the preparation of portfolio review materials and client discussion materials for Investment Managers.
• Perform portfolio screening and analytics, including asset allocation reviews, concentration analysis, portfolio positioning assessments and alignment with CIO and House Views, investment themes and asset allocation frameworks, to support Investment Managers in client discussions.
• Assist in identifying portfolio opportunities and investment themes for review and assessment by Investment Managers.
• Conduct market, industry and macroeconomic research to support investment discussions and business initiatives.

2. Investment Content & Sales Enablement
• Support the preparation of investment presentations, pitch books, market updates and client-facing materials.
• Prepare customized reports, charts and analytical materials for Investment Managers.
• Maintain standardized templates and best-practice materials to promote consistency across the IM franchise.
• Coordinate with Product Specialists, CIO and other partners to support investment campaigns and business initiatives.

3. Trade & Investment Management Support
• Provide operational and administrative support for investment and trading activities, including trade booking follow-up, internal approvals, documentation management, issue resolution, and coordination of portfolio management-related requests.
• Support post-trade servicing and lifecycle management activities, including issue resolution, stakeholder coordination, and the preparation of status updates and reporting relating to investment and trading activities.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and audit trails in accordance with regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

4. Business Performance & Analytics
• Produce and maintain management information, dashboards and performance reports relating to AUM, revenues, investment activities, pipeline opportunities and client engagement metrics.
• Perform analysis to identify business trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Support reporting automation, process enhancement and AI-enabled productivity initiatives.
• Maintain business trackers, reporting repositories and analytical tools.
• Support business initiatives and change programmes to ensure impacts on governance, controls and operating models are appropriately understood and embedded.

5. Business Management, Governance & Strategic Support
• Support the Head of Investment Managers and Business Manager in driving the business agenda across the Emerging Markets IM franchise.
• Assist in the preparation of management presentations, business reviews, governance forums and strategic initiatives.
• Support business planning, resource management, operating model enhancements and franchise-wide coordination activities.
• Support governance, risk and control activities including audits, regulatory reviews and management reviews.
• Contribute to process documentation, operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure appropriate handling of confidential client, portfolio and business information in accordance with applicable policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Experience
1. At least 6 years of relevant experience in Investment Advisory Support, Business Management, Sales Management or a related role within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
2. Strong understanding of Wealth Management offerings and investment products across multiple asset classes.
3. Experience in business reporting, analytics, management information and performance monitoring.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights.
5. Experience preparing presentations, management materials, reports and business updates for senior stakeholders.
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
7. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
8. Experience with data visualization, reporting tools and AI-enabled productivity tools is advantageous.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and geographies.
10. Post‑graduate or undergraduate degree with strong analytical skills.
