The Conflicts Analyst is responsible for logging, tracking, and managing conflicts clearance requests to ensure firm business is opened accurately and on time. They also maintain client and matter data, escalate potential conflicts, and provide administrative support to the Conflicts Team and attorneys.
Candidates must have at least three years of administrative, data entry, or records experience in a professional services environment. An associate degree is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Kilpatrick, a large international law firm, is seeking a Conflicts Analyst for our Conflicts Team in our Dallas or Houston office. This position will be part of our team of attorneys, paralegals and support staff providing a high level of service to both internal and external clients. At Kilpatrick we are one team where each person plays an integral role in serving the needs of our clients. The firm has a strong dedication to its employees, values, and commitment to the community.
Our Conflicts Department supports every new client, new matter, and lateral hire that comes through the firm. The Conflicts Analyst is the administrative engine of that process — the individual who makes sure requests are received, logged, run, tracked, and returned accurately and on time. It is detail-driven, process-driven work, and it is what allows the firm to open business quickly and cleanly. Reporting to Conflicts Department leadership and working in support of the Conflicts Analyst team, attorneys, and firm administrative teams, the Conflicts Analyst performs day-to-day administrative and recordkeeping functions within the conflicts workflow. This is an important role focused on accurate execution of established procedures in support of the Conflicts Team and attorneys.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
This is a full-time, regular position with a multi-faceted health benefit package including medical, dental, and vision. The firm also offers life insurance, short term disability plans and retirement plans in addition to holidays and paid time off. The firm offers hybrid work schedules combining in office work days as well as remote work days. The pay range for this position in Dallas or Houston only is $33.33 to $35.89 per hour.
