Job Description Summary
Friendly and customer-focused Food Server with experience providing prompt, professional service. Skilled in taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages, handling customer requests, processing payments, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. - Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and answer questions about menu items.
- Provide recommendations and upsell specials or additional items.
- Input orders accurately into the POS system and ensure timely delivery to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Monitor table cleanliness and promptly clear dishes and utensils.
- Prepare and deliver accurate checks, handle payments, and process transactions.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and cleanup.
- Uphold a positive attitude and teamwork mentality.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
