The Wine Steward is responsible for providing expert wine recommendations and service to enhance the dining experience for members and guests. They also manage wine inventory, ensure proper storage, and assist with the setup and breakdown of wine service areas for events.
Candidates must possess a Sommelier certification or relevant coursework and have at least 2 years of experience in a food and beverage role. Strong communication skills and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 100 lbs, are required.

The Wine Steward is responsible for enhancing the dining experience by providing expert wine service to members and guests. This role involves curating and presenting the wine list, offering recommendations, and ensuring that wine service adheres to the highest standards of quality and professionalism. The Wine Steward plays a key role in delivering exceptional service, contributing to member and guest satisfaction, and supporting overall dining operations.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the F&B/Beverage Director or Banquet/Restaurant Manager
Day to Day
Assist with setting up and breaking down wine service areas for events and special functions as needed.
Wear a clean, neat uniform that meets club standards.
Required
Preferred
Ability to follow instructions and communicate well with team members.
Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity.
Wine glasses/decanter
