The Optical Technician is responsible for dispensing and fitting glasses and contact lenses based on prescriptions while maximizing retail sales. They provide a high-quality patient experience by recommending frames and lenses that suit individual medical and aesthetic needs.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with ABO and NCLE certifications preferred. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in customer or patient interaction, preferably within a medical or ophthalmic setting.
