The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall execution and delivery of complex mission-critical facility projects, serving as the primary link between the client and the firm. Key duties include managing project lifecycles, overseeing budgets of $1M+ annually, and mentoring other project managers.
Requires an accredited engineering degree and at least 7 years of project management experience in a related field. Candidates must have formal project management training and a valid driver's license.
The Senior Project Manager is directly responsible for the overall successful execution and delivery of the project, both to the Client and Stantec, according to the contract. The Senior Project Manager represents Stantec and is the primary administrator and communications link between Stantec and all project stakeholders. He/she relies on past experience and expertise to manage larger and more complex projects, perform the project management job responsibilities with minimal supervision, and creates a plan to meet the client’s expectations and goals and provides a positive experience. The Senior Project Manager will also act as a mentor and resource to other project managers.
