Natixis Investment Managers is seeking a seasoned Tax and Wealth Planning Strategist to serve as a subject matter expert for the Natixis Sales team to offer additional value to advisor and client engagements. This highly visible role will shape sophisticated planning conversations around tax strategy, wealth transfer, liquidity events, and investment solutions, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights that strengthen advisor relationships, elevate client engagement, and support business growth. This is a hybrid position located in our Boston office.
What you will do:
Serve as a senior planning expert focused on asset transitions, wealth transfer, and liquidity events for Natixis sales teams, advisors, and HNW/UHNW clients through meetings, conferences, consultations, and customized planning.
Act as the subject matter expert on tax outcomes, mitigation techniques and investment approaches.
Provide thought leadership on tax and planning strategies, policy developments, and product applications.
Assess industry, regulatory, and policy changes and translate their implications for clients, advisors, and Natixis solutions.
Deliver executive-level presentations that make complex financial and tax planning concepts clear, practical, and actionable.
Advise on tax-aware products and services, including, Custom Solutions, Direct Indexing, Long/Short Strategies, Exchange Funds and Options Hedging.
Identify emerging planning opportunities, product ideas, and client-facing insights.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced designation such as tax planning credentials, CFP, JD, CPA, MBA, MST, CEPA, CAP, or similar relevant credential strongly preferred.
10+ years in investment or wealth management, including 5+ years in senior financial or tax planning role with HNW/UHNW clients and financial advisors.
Executive-level written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex investment, tax, estate, retirement income, business succession, and wealth transfer concepts into engaging client-ready messaging.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Ability to travel approximately 25% for advisor meetings, conferences, team collaboration, and client presentations.

In accordance with the Massachusetts Wage transparency act, the expected annual base salary for this Boston, MA, based position is $133,900 - $185,400. Actual annual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and other job-related factors. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and other Natixis sponsored benefit programs.
