As a Commercial Garage Door Technician, you’ll be the face of our company—servicing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial and industrial door systems, primarily hollow metal doors, including sectional doors, rolling steel doors, fire doors, dock equipment, and more.
You’ll work hands-on in the field, troubleshoot issues on the spot, and leave customers confident in the safety and performance of their door systems.
Install, service, and repair commercial garage door systems and dock equipment
Perform job site inspections to ensure all work meets safety standards and company expectations
Maintain detailed job documentation (notes, diagrams, photos)
Identify customer needs and recommend repair or upgrade solutions
Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company best practices
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
Use company software and mobile tools to track jobs and update progress
3+ years of experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting commercial hollow metal doors and frames.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and hardware schedules.
Experience with frame modifications, door replacements, and field measurements.
Ability to safely operate lifts, ladders, and common power tools.
Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
