Requires a minimum of five years of experience as a maintenance technician in commercial or industrial facilities. Must possess mechanical and electrical aptitude with large tonnage HVAC equipment and the ability to perform physical labor.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, controls, exhaust equipment, and other building equipment in a facility. This includes the ability to troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls, perform necessary repairs, and maintain HVAC equipment as part of the facility's preventive maintenance program. The Technician must demonstrate professional competence and attention to detail to ensure that all HVAC systems function at optimal levels, promoting a safe and comfortable environment for all building occupants.
