The superintendent is responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising craft activities on heavy civil construction projects to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. They must also coordinate with various departments and contractors while maintaining strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and possess at least 5 years of supervisory experience in the construction industry. Proficiency in construction scheduling, cost control, and Microsoft Office software is required, along with the ability to travel and maintain an insurable driving record.
