The Sales Estimator is responsible for selling crane and rigging services by managing leads and building customer relationships. They draft proposals and determine project costs, including materials, equipment, and labor requirements.
Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of estimating experience, preferably in rigging, logistics, or construction. A high school diploma is required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong understanding of OSHA safety standards.
The Sales Estimator is primarily responsible for selling crane and/or rigging services to businesses and industrial or commercial establishments through in-person or telephone contact. This position will work closely with customers to understand required specifications and scope of work, and assist the sales and operations teams by drafting proposals, determine and monitor overall project costs including materials or equipment needed, and manpower or labor requirements.
Normal, climate-controlled office environment. Extended time sitting using a computer, keyboard/mouse, and telephone. Will be exposed to site-specific situations that may include climbing stairs or ladders, walking over uneven or rough terrain, and working in indoor or outdoor environments with exposure to inclement weather. Occasional lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
