The Fitter/Welder is responsible for laying out and welding structural steel components using jigs and MIG welding processes. They must maintain welding equipment and adhere to strict safety protocols to build utility structure products.
Candidates must have applicable welding experience and the ability to read blueprints and measure within specified tolerances. Experience with Flux or Metal Core welding and previous work with transmission poles is highly preferred.

You’ll set up, operate and maintain welding equipment. Through the MIG welding process, you’ll be responsible for welding together structural steel and other metals to build utility structure products while implementing safety protocols and procedures.
